Corey Graves names which WWE NXT star he thinks is ready for the main roster

WWE Raw and SmackDown Live color commentator Corey Graves had praise to give to top WWE NXT Superstar Velveteen Dream after watching Sunday’s Halftime Heat broadcast.

This special took place during the halftime of the Super Bowl on various platforms such as WWE’s streaming service, WWE Network, their YouTube channel, and several social media accounts. Adam Cole, Johnny Gargano, Tommaso Ciampa took on Aleister Black, Velveteen Dream, and Ricochet in a six-man tag team match.

Graves was impressed by the performance of The Velveteen Dream and even questioned why he isn’t on the main roster yet. He wrote the following messages on his official Twitter account:

“Tell me again why @VelveteenWWE isn’t on #RAW or #SDLive yet?#HalftimeHeat/. Wow. The internet sure has an amazing way of turning a compliment into something negative. I shouldn’t be surprised, but for some reason, I still am.

Dear @VelveteenWWE, I apologize. You should NEVER aspire to take your talents to the global stage, or the money that comes with it. The internet has taught me that it’s bad for you. Sincere apologies, Graves.”
