Danhausen’s crossover moment with the New York Knicks is continuing into the team’s championship celebration. WFAN Sports Radio has publicly invited him to be its guest at the Knicks’ championship parade in New York City on Thursday.
The invitation came after Danhausen congratulated the Knicks on their first NBA title since 1973. “CONGRATULATIONS FROM DANHAUSEN. FOREVER UNCURSED,” he posted.
WFAN responded: “You are cordially invited to be our guest at the parade on Thursday,” the station wrote.
The Knicks’ ticker-tape parade is scheduled for Thursday, June 18, beginning at 10 a.m. ET near Battery Park and traveling north along Broadway through the Canyon of Heroes before concluding at City Hall, where Mayor Zohran Mamdani will host a ceremony and present the team with the Key to the City. It is the first championship parade in Knicks history.
As noted earlier, Peter Rosenberg recently said on his Cheap Heat radio show that Danhausen was “beside himself” over how the run had played out and predicting a major presence for him at Fanatics Fest in New York. Danhausen’s New York profile has also been tied to reported WWE plans to capitalize on his rising popularity in the market.
You are cordially invited to be our guest at the parade on Thursday, @DanhausenAD! https://t.co/beS6tmqn2b
