Former WWE Star Jon Heidenreich’s First Interview In Years Drops June 11 With Chris Van Vliet

Jon Heidenreich is returning to the spotlight for the first time in many years. Chris Van Vliet announced on Instagram that his interview with Heidenreich drops on June 11. Heidenreich has also joined Instagram at @jonheidenreich74 and X at @JonHeidenreich7.

The interview comes roughly four months after Heidenreich went viral following a photo of him working at a Walmart in Greenfield, Ohio.

The Walmart Story

In February 2026, a Walmart co-worker named Wade Stratton shared a photo and story on Facebook about working alongside the former WWE Tag Team Champion. According to Stratton, Heidenreich casually mentioned during a conversation that he used to wrestle professionally, naming The Undertaker, Booker T, William Regal, and The Rock as former opponents. Stratton said he did not believe him at first.

Once he confirmed it was true, Stratton tracked down one of Heidenreich’s old action figures and asked him to sign it. “You could tell it made him happy to be able to be in the spotlight again,” Stratton wrote. The photo, which showed Heidenreich putting Stratton in a headlock while on the job, spread widely across wrestling social media and generated an overwhelmingly positive response from fans.

In May 2026, booking service Book Pro Wrestlers announced that Heidenreich had decided to begin accepting bookings for appearances, autograph signings, interviews, acting projects, and product endorsements. He is not accepting bookings for wrestling matches.

WWE Career

Heidenreich, now 53, competed in WWE from 2003 to 2006. He debuted on Raw before moving to SmackDown, where Paul Heyman managed him through a prominent feud with The Undertaker that culminated in a Casket Match at the Royal Rumble in 2005.

Later that year, Heidenreich teamed with Road Warrior Animal to reform the Legion of Doom. The pair won the WWE Tag Team Championship at the Great American Bash in 2005. WWE released Heidenreich in 2006.

The Chris Van Vliet interview drops June 11.
