The director of Hulk Hogan: Real American has confirmed that a significant amount of footage was left on the cutting room floor, but says there are currently no plans to release anything additional.
Speaking on the Ham Radio Show, director Bryan Storkel addressed the remaining Hogan material and whether fans might see more of it.
“There’s definitely more that you could cover. I mean, there’s so many things that got cut out. But we decided on four parts and it’s four hours worth, and we just put in the best stuff or the stuff we could fit. I think there’s so much more, though,” Storkel said.
Despite the abundance of unused material, Storkel indicated that no further releases are being discussed.
“I mean, I think you can do more episodes, there would be an argument made for that. But there’s definitely no talk of that,” Storkel said.
Hulk Hogan: Real American is currently streaming on Netflix. The four episodes range in length from 46 minutes to one hour and 19 minutes, totaling approximately four hours of content. The series debuted at number five globally on Netflix in its opening week, drawing three million views and 12.3 million hours watched.
