Former WWE Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton is reportedly poised for a major comeback after an extended absence from television. According to reports from the Wrestling Observer Newsletter and Bodyslam, the popular superstar has been out of action dealing with an undisclosed injury.
BodySlam reported today that she has received medical clearance to return to the ring. The news comes as a significant boost to the SmackDown roster as the company approaches its busiest season of the year.
Stratton has not been seen on WWE programming since the Saturday Night’s Main Event special on November 1, 2025. That night proved to be a pivotal moment for “The Center of the Universe,” as she defended and ultimately lost the WWE Women’s Championship to Jade Cargill. The defeat ended her title reign and marked the beginning of her hiatus, with fans speculating on her whereabouts for the past two months.
While the specific nature of the injury was never made public, sources indicate that the issue was serious enough to keep her sidelined for the remainder of 2025. The report notes that WWE officials expect Stratton to be “featured prominently” as the company builds toward WrestleMania 42.
As of today, speculation is mounting that Stratton could make her surprise return as early as the upcoming Royal Rumble Premium Live Event. The event is scheduled to take place on Saturday, January 31, at the new venue in the King Abdullah Financial District in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
