If you’re a big Andy Kaufman fan then this might irk you a little bit. But James Ellsworth recently unveiled his new World Intergender Championship. While Kaufman traveled around during his day defending his own World Intergender Wrestling Championship it looks like Ellsworth might be bringing back the heat-magnet gimmick for his own purposes.
People immediately called Ellsworth out for borrowing from Andy Kaufman and so far he has yet to acknowledge this fact. But from 1979 to 1983 Andy traveled around wrestling approximately 400 women and was never defeated. Let’s see if James Ellsworth can pull down the same kind of numbers when he hits the road with the same kind of title in 2018.
I do have to give it to Ellsworth because he has a pretty cool title belt to defend. It’s also very cool to see he’s still going strong since his WWE release a couple of months ago.
