James Ellsworth is still getting over his WWE release and although it came to an abrupt ending, he still has nothing but great things to say about his experiences with Vince McMahon and Company.
The NWA has been in a state of rebuilding since Billy Corgan took control and he’s promising a lot of NWA World Title matches to hype the newly freshened up company.
NWA World Champion Nick Aldis is holding an open challenge for his title to make things even more interesting. While in the ring, he requested a match against another World Champion or a man who has defeated a World Champion. Since James Ellsworth has beat AJ Styles before, he seemed to fit the bill.
This match went down on Sunday’s Championship Wrestling From Hollywood event. Although Ellsworth didn’t come down with the title, there are probably going to be plenty more chances for fans of indie wrestling to see the Chinless Wonder pop up where he’s least expected.
The first challenger in #TheAldisCrusade revealed.
Per @RealNickAldis request – a man who either was a Worlds Champion or beat a Worlds Champion.
That man is James Ellsworth @realellsworth
