Jinder Mahal has a very good 2017 as he carried the WWE Championship from No Mercy all the wall to Manchester, England when he finally lost his title to AJ Styles just before he was set to face Brock Lesnar in a champion vs champion match at Survivor Series.
The Modern Day Maharaja traveled the globe making towns all over the planet as WWE Champion, but he sadly didn’t get carry his championship to India even though he did represent his people for the better part of the entire year.
It turns out that Mahal wrestled the most out of any WWE Superstar last year with 185 matches. The Wrestling Observer Newsletter noted that this number is more than even Tetsuya Naito who wrestled 155 dates (even though only 18 matches were on his own.)
But you’ve got to give it up to Baron Corbin too because The Lone Wolf busted his hump in the ring 181 times this year for WWE. With the former United States Champion’s match number only being four less than Jinder Mahal, you’ve really got to respect those numbers too.
