MMA veteran and professional wrestler Josh Barnett has fired back at Bully Ray after the WWE Hall of Famer took aim at Jon Moxley and his Death Riders faction.
Speaking on Busted Open Radio, Bully Ray was sharply critical of the group. “The Death Riders have not helped AEW in any way, shape, or form,” he said, arguing that the faction is “Jon Moxley playing out his pro wrestling fantasies because he’s got Tony [Khan’s] ear.” He went further on Moxley himself, saying, “I would kick the s*** out of Jon Moxley. I’d beat the living s*** out of him. Fraud.”
Barnett, a former UFC Heavyweight Champion, responded on X. “Interesting take here, Bully,” he wrote. “Mox can handle himself just fine, so he doesn’t need me to fight any battles for him, but if you ever have the itch to feel what it would be like to have your ass kicked so thoroughly to the point of epic humiliation, I can help you with that.”
Barnett added that he could “not only ‘beat the s*** out of you,’ but do so in a way as to make your ass kicking legendary,” before closing with, “For you, any time. Just ask.”
Bully did not respond to Barnett directly but he did tweet a quote from PT Barnum: “There’s a sucker born every minute…”
