Mick Foley Thanks WWE As His Legends Deal Ends

Mick Foley has confirmed that his WWE Legends merchandise deal has come to an end.

In a message posted to Facebook, the WWE Hall of Famer revealed that, as of today, he is no longer under a WWE Legends merchandise contract, and he took the opportunity to express his gratitude to the company. “The message for WWE, and specifically their merchandise and marketing people, the message is thank you. And I mean that sincerely,” Foley said.

Foley reflected on how much his merchandising run meant to him, recalling that he didn’t receive his first action figure until well into his career. “When I got to WWE in 1996, I had been in the business for 11 years, and I finally got an action figure. And I figured that was my one and only action figure,” he said. “Here it is 2026, and honestly, a couple of days ago, I just received my largest quarterly royalties statement in probably 10 years.” He thanked everyone who had a hand in deeming him someone worth making action figures and other merchandise for.

The hardcore legend also had a message for fans, making clear he remains proud of his WWE legacy even as he embarks on a new path. “I have no problem signing WWE memorabilia. I look forward to it. I’m proud of everything I did there, but it’s time for a new chapter in my career and in my life,” Foley said.

That new chapter is centered on AEW, and Foley says fresh merchandise is on the way. “I’m really looking forward to this adventure with AEW, and I’m really looking forward to doing everything I can possibly do to make AEW as great as it can possibly be,” he said.

He added that AEW merchandise is coming, along with projects from a couple of other companies he recently spoke with about some exciting ideas that he’ll roll out soon.
