It takes a lot of guts to get in the ring with someone like Nia Jax and on this week’s episode of Raw, she stepped into the ring with a very brave girl indeed. As it turns out, Jax also stepped in the ring this week against someone who wasn’t old enough to vote yet.
Squared Circle Sirens reports that billed as Vanessa Floyd, Jax’s opponent was 17-year-old high school student Savanna Stone who is also Zero1 USA’s Women’s Champion. Trained by Michael Elgin, Stone started taking bookings at the National Wrasslin’ League in January this year and she’s already made it on Raw.
It’s not unheard of for a Superstar to begin their career as an enhancement talent, therefore Stone is getting off to a great start. She also earned Nia Jax’s respect in the process which is a pretty cool thing as well.
One thing’s for sure, although her WWE debut could have gone better for her, Savanna Stone will never forget her WWE debut.
If you think it’s interesting to be underage and an indie wrestler you can check this article out about a 16-year-old indie wrestler who was hospitalized after a spot went wrong.
Just warming up on my way to #Wrestlemania, I’m coming for you @WWEAsuka 👊🏼😈
PS I was impressed with this very young talent that stepped in the ring with me, nervous as can be, but she did such a great job! @SavannaStone01 congrats on your raw debut 😉 pic.twitter.com/b714PtpCCt
