NXT’s Keanu Carver is under a temporary order of protection after another NXT talent accused him in a Florida court filing of stalking and harassment, POST Wrestling reported.
The report, from Brandon Thurston and John Pollock, states that the petition was filed on September 14 against Carver, whose real name is Kevin Robertson. A judge granted a temporary order the same day. After a hearing on September 22, the court extended it until another hearing set for October 20. According to court records cited by POST Wrestling, Robertson asked for a continuance so he could get an attorney.
Under the order, Robertson must stay at least 500 feet away from the petitioner and cannot contact that person. POST Wrestling is not naming the petitioner unless the person chooses to come forward publicly.
The petitioner says the two were in a relationship that recently ended. The 49-page filing includes screenshots of calls and security camera stills that the petitioner says show Robertson making repeated visits to the petitioner’s home after the breakup. The petition claims he called as many as 44 times in a single day.
According to the filing, Robertson came to the petitioner’s home at 7 a.m. on September 4 while “intoxicated and under the influence of drugs and alcohol.” The petition does not say which drugs.
The petition alleges Robertson came back on September 8 while the petitioner was not home and waited at the door. When the petitioner returned and tried to put the car in reverse to drive away, the filing says Robertson grabbed the vehicle and said he needed help, that he had drugs on him, that he had seen police, and that his phone was nearly dead and he had no way to get home. According to the petition, he returned later that night, knocked on the door and walked around the home until around 8 a.m.
On September 9, the petitioner claims Robertson called 25 times and came to the home while no one was there. The filing says he came back at 2:01 a.m. the next morning, knocked on the door through the night, walked around the apartment building, called from a blocked number and contacted the petitioner through X.
The petitioner says they recorded video from inside the apartment of Robertson making growling noises and knocking, and did not answer the door. The petitioner then called a mutual friend to come get Robertson, who, according to the filing, had passed out at the front door. The petition states that several neighbors saw him sleeping outside the door, and that one tenant sent a photo and an email to the rental office because she was afraid.
The petitioner then set up a security camera at the door. On September 13, the petition says, Robertson came to the home again after being told he was not welcome and rang the doorbell several times. The petitioner called 911. According to the filing, Robertson threatened to harm himself, left before police arrived, and then called the petitioner another 44 times over the next two hours. The petitioner asked the court for the order of protection the following day.
The petition also alleges Robertson was abusive and threatening while the two were dating. The petitioner claims he spat on them, physically kept them from leaving his house, threatened to kill the petitioner and the petitioner’s cats, woke the petitioner by plugging their nose while they slept, and grabbed them by the throat several times while threatening to kill them.
An order of protection is a civil matter, while stalking is a crime under Florida law. POST Wrestling reported that it could not confirm whether criminal charges will be filed. A local police official told the outlet the case is pending with the State Attorney’s Office, which said the case is under investigation and would not say whether charges will follow.
POST Wrestling said it reached out to an email address and phone number believed to belong to Robertson and had not received a response. The X account @KeanuCarverWWE and an Instagram account with the same handle have been deactivated. WWE has not issued a statement on Robertson/Carver.
