Roman Reigns expected to get a long title reign

As many of you saw earlier tonight, Roman Reigns won the WWE Universal Championship at the Payback pay-per-view.

We were told that this is the start of a long title reign for Reigns and Vince McMahon is all in with pushing him to the moon because he wants him to be on the level of John Cena.

A WWE source said, "Vince is not playing around. He wants Roman to hold onto that belt until WrestleMania at least. Everyone knows the fans will cheer him and we all expect him to be a babyface sooner than later but the games with the silly verbiage in promos are done with. Roman will have more input this time with his promos."

Paul Heyman has worked closely with Reigns before, specifically during his last feud with Brock Lesnar. It's expected that Heyman will be involved (on camera and behind the scenes) future storylines involving Reigns. As previously noted, Heyman has been close with Reigns' family dating back decades when Heyman was a photographer at the Madison Square Garden shows.

One other thing that was noted to us was that there has been talk of Reigns getting new gear or wrestling without a shirt.
