Ronda Rousey explains why she won’t be watching Daniel Cormier vs. Brock Lesnar

WWE Universal Champion Brock Lesnar’s return to mixed martial arts (MMA) is on the horizon. “The Beast” confronted UFC heavyweight and light heavyweight champion Daniel Cormier at UFC 226 this past weekend (Sat. July 7, 2018) after his victory over Stipe Mioci. Lesnar shoved Cormier and claimed he was coming for his heavyweight title.

After the event UFC President Dana White confirmed that Brock Lesnar vs. Daniel Cormier is in fact the next fight for the heavyweight belt. TMZ Sports recently caught up with former UFC women’s bantamweight champion, UFC Hall Of Famer and WWE Superstar Ronda Rousey.

“The Rowdy One” was asked for her opinion on the fight between Lesnar and Cormier. Rousey said she can’t really give her opinion on the fight because she’s friends with both men and doesn’t want to take sides. She then said that she hates seeing her friends fight in the Octagon, so she might not even watch the fight at all.

In regards to Cormier’s recent accomplishment, winning the UFC heavyweight championship and becoming the second ever dual-weight champion in UFC history, she admits that he’s probably the greatest fighter in the game today. There’s more in the video, including whether or not Rousey wants to pursue a WWE Hall Of Fame induction one day, which you can watch below:
