During an interview with Renee Young for WWE.com, Ronda Rousey revealed that she would return to WWE TV at Extreme Rules. Rousey said that she is so excited for the Raw Women’s Championship match between Alexa Bliss and Nia Jax that she will be in attendance as a fan. This is how they will be able to explain her return while still having her adhere to the storyline suspension.
Dave Meltzer first reported last week that Rousey was booked for the Extreme Rules pay-per-view. She is also scheduled to be on Raw the following night.
All of this appears to be the set up for Rousey’s match at SummerSlam in Brooklyn, NY where she is expected to get another shot at the Raw Women’s Championship.
