You never know what you will find on the road, especially if you’re a WWE Superstar. When you’re someone like Shelton Benjamin who travels as much as he does then that certainly increases the odds of unpredictability.
But the SmackDown Live star never thought he would find this kind of surprise let alone in a car he had been driving in for the last four days.
The former member of The World’s Greatest Tag Team recently tweeted out a picture of a gun with a caption reading: “Thank you Budget (LIT) for your great service of putting my reputation, freedom and quite possibly my life in jeopardy I’ve unknowingly been driving your car around the last 4 days with a F’N LOADED GUN in the Glove compartment!!”
There could have been some very bad times in Shelty’s world if he had been pulled over and this gun was discovered by authorities. After all, it wouldn’t be registered to him and police might not buy an excuse that he didn’t know it was there.
Thankfully, everything seems to be okay but Benjamin will probably never head off from a car rental agency’s parking lot without checking the car more thoroughly. Someone at the place he rented his car from might have some explaining to do as well.
