WWE has loaded up tonight’s episode of Monday Night Raw as they get closer to the return on Monday Night Football on September 11. Here is some of what they have planned for tonight:
Sasha Banks defends the Raw Women’s Championship against Alexa Bliss in a SummerSlam rematch.
John Cena vs. Samoa Joe, according to PWInsider. This was a match that was considered earlier this year for WrestleMania. Both of them trained together in the early 2000’s for UPW and it would be their first time wrestling each other in a WWE ring.
A battle royal will determine who will face The Miz for the Intercontinental Championship at WWE No Mercy.
Enzo Amore joins the cruiserweights.
Also, as noted earlier, Roman Reigns will take on John Cena at No Mercy. That match will be made “official” tonight on Raw.
