There haven’t been many people to come into WWE like Little Miss Bliss. Since being drafted to SmackDown Live in what some considered a surprise choice, she was shot to the top of the card in rapid fashion. Now she’s living her dream in more ways than one.
People only saw a glimpse of Bliss’ wrestling in NXT as she transformed from a pixie dust blowing blue fairy into the Five Feet Of Fury as a manager. But the WWE Performance Center certainly transformed her into an incredible talent.
Since Bliss debuted on SmackDown Live in 2016, if there was a SmackDown Women’s Title match on PPV, then she was in the match. This trend carried on to Raw when she was drafted over there as well because every time the Raw Women’s Title has been defended on pay-per-view she has been part of the match as well. Thanks to the fine folks at Reddit for pointing this out.
Bliss was performing more often than not and if she was then it was probably a championship match. She even appeared in a marquee role at Survivor Series when her title wasn’t on the line. The Total Divas star would have most likely defended her title at the Royal Rumble as well but they didn’t have enough women to spare a challenger for her. Besides, they needed Bliss and Charlotte Flair to sit beside the ring and prepare for Ronda Rousey’s big debut.
If she can keep her Raw Women’s Title through Elimination Chamber then Alexa Bliss might be walking into her second WrestleMania in a row with a championship title. Not bad for a girl who never held the NXT Women’s Title while in developmental.
