Triple H opens up about Daniel Bryan’s in-ring return

Daniel Bryan is one of the best wrestlers on the planet even though fans haven’t received the chance of seeing him wrestle for a very long time. However, Bryan wants to compete and he still has a couple doctors who would let him. However, it’s WWE’s doctor Joseph Maroon who really has the final sayso right now.

Triple H recently appeared at the Television Critics Association winter press tour panel in order to promote the 25th anniversary of Raw, when he was asked a question about Daniel Bryan’s in-ring return and The Game’s response was rather straight to the point.

“There can be no exception, medically, if the belief is that he’s not healthy enough and it is a risk for to perform, then I don’t know why we would ever allow him to step in the ring unless it can be proven otherwise.”

Triple H praised WWE’s doctors in the process while standing behind their decision to keep Daniel Bryan retired.

“We have some of the best medical people in the world working for us. Our wellness policy, our concussion programs, out protocols–I’ll put them up against any on the planet […] The medical experts will make the determination of whether Bryan can set foot in that ring or not. Personally, for him, I know it’s something he loved doing and I hope he has that opportunity. But at the same point in time, he’s married and has a child. We serve the human being first.”

But whether Triple H likes it or not, Daniel Bryan certainly sounds like he has plans to wrestle again once his WWE contract is up. Only time will tell if we’ll ever see Bryan wrestle again but if his doctors still say he’s good to go, there’s a strong possibility he’ll listen to them instead of WWE’s doctor who not only has Bryan’s interest in mind but also that of a billion-dollar company.
