Is it weird the SmackDown house show in Fort Wayne Indiana had a better main event than Monday Night Raw? It wasn’t strange at all if you ask the fans in Fort Wayne who were treated to a great main event last night. WWE Champion Jinder Mahal teamed with Kevin Owens to take on Randy Orton and US Champion AJ Styles.
These guys work very well together and it’s obvious they’re having fun. But Jinder was facing his old foe instead of the man he’s supposed to tangle with at SummerSlam, John Cena. WHAT’S CENA BEEN UP TO ANYWAY?
Thanks again to our good friend Brian The Guppie for finding this footage and putting it one up for us to enjoy. Living in the modern age of wrestling really is quite delightful because we can enjoy main events like this.
The crowd seemed very hot for this one which is (yet again) more than we can say about Monday Night Raw because they might have botched the show by putting the triple threat match of Joe, Roman, and Braun on at the end of the second hour. There had to have been a reason for this decision but WWE seemed to pay dearly for it because the crowd was gone by the end of the night.
But let’s try not think so negatively about Raw because Big Show and Cass really tried their best to make chicken salad there. Just enjoy the blue brand’s main event on Monday Night.
