It looks like “Rowdy” Ronda Rousey could be on her way to WWE. Although nothing has been made official yet, she’s reportedly training in the squared circle with help from 205 Live star The Brian Kendrick and already taken some bumps in the ring. All of those things are good signs if you’re one of the many people who would love to see Ronda compete in a WWE ring.
If Ronda learns how to transition her MMA background with the art of pro wrestling it could be a magic combination. She showed up at the Mae Young Classic to watch her friend and fellow Horsewoman Shayna Baszler compete in the tournament and even got into a confrontation with some of WWE’s incarnation of the 4 Horsewomen.
With reports she could be inching closer to a WWE run, Dave Meltzer reported in the latest issue of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that the next plausible chance to see an advancement in the ongoing Ronda Rousey/WWE story could be during the September 12th Mae Young Classic Finals in Las Vegas. This show will be live and you never know what could happen when you’re going live.
Fellow MMA Horsewoman Jessamyn Duke has also reportedly been training with Kendrick as well which could mean this proposed dream match scenario might actually come to fruition.
Meltzer also noted although it’s unknown how long Bayley will be out of action due to her separated shoulder she is penciled in to be a part of the rumored 4 Horsewomen vs 4 Horsewomen program. So let’s hope The Hugger can heal up in time because we’re sure she doesn’t want to miss out on that experience or payday.
