Everyone loves to see a familiar face backstage in WWE, especially a Hall Of Famer. It turns out DDP was in the building for Raw this week but of course, he wasn’t used on television.
Raw was plenty full as the go-home Elimination Chamber show with a huge gauntlet match. But there were never plans to use Diamond Dallas Page on the show in the first place.
According to PW Insider, DDP was in the house to film some interviews so he can be a talking head on future specials. One of those WWE projects he recorded footage for was the upcoming Randy Savage: Unreleased Matches DVD.
It would have been nice to see him on the show, but there’s always next time.
