Marc Izard, the wrestling fan who was reported missing following WrestleMania 42 weekend in Las Vegas, has been found dead.
The Las Vegas Review-Journal reported that Izard, 43, died on April 18 in Las Vegas. The Clark County coroner’s office confirmed his death on Monday, with his cause and manner of death still pending at the time of the report.
Izard had traveled to Las Vegas from the United Kingdom for WrestleMania 42 weekend. WWE superstar Natalya was among those who helped bring awareness to his disappearance, posting about him on April 25.
“His last known sighting was leaving the arena after SmackDown on April 17, his last photo taken was with me at my signing. Marc traveled from the UK and has not made it home or been in contact since,” Natalya wrote.
SmackDown took place on April 17 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas as part of WrestleMania 42 weekend, with WrestleMania 42 nights one and two following on April 18 and 19, and Raw on April 20. Our thoughts are with Izard’s family.
