Dave Meltzer talked about the WWE Network subscription numbers today on Wrestling Observer radio and some of the disappointment from the investment community. The 667,287 subscribers is considered to be on low end of “not bad.”
Dave and Bryan Alvarez said that there is already talk in WWE of increasing the network price. The price being talked about is $11.99.
If the year end numbers are not as good as they hope for then this could mean that WrestleMania and perhaps other pay-per-view could become exclusive to satellite and cable again.
