WWE provides medical update on Jeff Hardy and Dolph Ziggler

WWE provided the following medical update (obviously, in storyline) on Dolph Ziggler:

“After falling off the side of the Hell in a Cell structure during Roman Reigns’ Universal Championship Match against Braun Strowman, Dolph Ziggler was looked at by WWE medical personnel, but he refused to go to a local medical facility. Instead, Ziggler left the AT&T Center under his own power alongside tag team partner Drew McIntyre.”

Meanwhile, WWE’s medical update on Jeff Hardy was provided to fans during the Hell in a Cell pay-per-view. They announced that Hardy was transported to a medical facility with abdominal pains and he was throwing up blood. WWE says he was kept overnight for observation.

Here is the latest update from WWE:

“The following morning, however, WWE.com learned that Hardy walked out of the medical faculty on his own during the night.”

Last night’s Hell in a Cell pay-per-view was meant to be a placeholder show to further existing storylines so you can expect the Hardy/Orton feud to continue. Ziggler, Strowman, and McIntyre are scheduled to face The Shield at the Super Show-Down event on 10/6.
