You never know what can happen in WWE but many times a surprise can be telegraphed well in advance. True, WWE can throw something at us that we really don’t see coming from time to time. But those are often rare occasions nowadays.
Bayley is booked in a rather interesting match coming up for the March 16th house show in Madison Square Garden which could lead some to speculate that a heel turn could finally be on the way for The Hugger.
“WWE sent the card for Madison Square Garden,” Dave Meltzer said on Wrestling Observer Radio. “One of the matches on the Madison Square Garden card on March 16th is John Cena and Nikki Bella vs Bayley and Elias which sounds like Bayley may be going heel.”
“So perhaps the Bayley [and] Sasha thing will be Bayley turning and not Sasha. Maybe, or they don’t know what they are doing and they needed — I don’t even know why. Why you would have Bayley team with Elias?”
Bayley and Sasha Banks seem to be in the midst of a crossroads of sorts and some have projected a heel turn coming for The Boss. But if it is Bayley who turns to the dark side, it could get pretty interesting. Let’s just hope whatever WWE does for Bayley ends up paying off in the end.
