WWE WrestleMania 42 Results: Penta Survives Ladder Match To Retain Intercontinental Title

Intercontinental Champion Penta vs. Je’Von Evans vs. Dragon Lee vs. JD McDonagh vs. Rusev vs. Rey Mysterio in a ladder match took place at the WWE WrestleMania 42 – Night 2 from Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Penta hit a springboard crossbody to Rusev then everyone started brawling to start things off. Penta and Lee drop kicked Rusev with a ladder before he hit them with the ladder. Lee caught Rey with a drop kick before setting up a ladder only for Rusev to hit him in the face with one. JD was tossed off a ladder and crashed onto one by Rusev. Evans with a spring board clothesline to JD off a ladder. Rey sandwiched Lee in between a ladder then hit a 619 to JD. Rey sent Rusev crashing through a ladder on the floor with a west coast pop. Lee with a Styles Clash to Rey then climbed the ladder only for JD to stop him. JD with a spanish fly to Lee off a ladder. Penta with a mexican destroyer to JD off a ladder onto another one. Evans with an OG cutter to Rusev from the top rope off a ladder. Penta got the title to win the bout.

Winner: Penta
