Great North Wrestling sent out the following statement on Tuesday night:
GNW has been informed through his wife Valerie that former WWE Champion and WWE Hall of Famer” Superstar Billy Graham has been admitted to the Mayo Clinic due to some serious medical symptoms. Graham will undergo a procedure Wednesday morning to identify the cause of his medical issues.
Graham has battled several health issues over the years. In 2013, he was hospitalized with double pneumonia and he’s had hip issues dating back to the early 1980s. Back in March, Graham revealed that he was getting “life or death” surgery and he had to pull out of an appearance at WrestleMania AXXESS. Graham attributes many of his health issues due to steroid use in the 70s and 80s.
