– New Japan Pro Wrestling announced on Wednesday at Wrestle Kingdom 11 that they will be holding their G1 Special events in Los Angeles on July 1st and 2nd. These events will mark NJPW’s first ever self-produced tour dates in the United States.
While official details on the events are scarce, there has been talk of NJPW running some qualifying matches for American wrestlers at those shows, who would then compete in the annual G1 Climax tournament, which starts on July 27th in Japan.
