Hulk Hogan wants to be at Raw 25th anniversary show, WWE responds

As noted earlier this week, Hulk Hogan told fans on Twitter that he will be home during the Raw 25th anniversary show that will feature a host of legends from Raw’s past.

Hogan is still hopeful that he’ll get the call but it doesn’t look like it’s in the cards right now. “Brother, if I’m not there, I’ll definitely be there in spirit,” Hogan told Dan Gelston of the Associated Press. “One way or the other, Hulk Hogan influenced each and every one of those guys you’re going to see on TV Monday night. And that includes Vince McMahon, too.”

Hogan wants to be back in the WWE family but it’s all up to management. “I don’t know if they want me back,” Hogan said. “I think the fans want me back. I think that I’m part of that company from the ground up. Triple H I know is a huge fan of the guys that gave their blood, sweat and tears and their personal life to make this happen. I know Triple H would love to see me back on the inside again.”

The AP reached out for a statement from WWE and they responded, “At this time, WWE remains committed to its decision.”

The interview then switched to Bullet Club. Hogan, who has said good things about them in the past, would like to work with them. “I’m about ready to jump on a plane and fly to Japan and get involved with that Bullet Club, man. I’m so excited about those kids,” Hogan said.

Call me skeptical because I would not expect WWE to confirm anything if they wanted Hogan to be a surprise on Monday. I would also not expect Hogan to let the cat out of the bag either so I guess we’ll see what happens on Monday. You can read the full AP interview by clicking here.
