SPOILER: WWE’s plan for Braun Strowman’s match at WrestleMania

Braun Strowman had probably the best year out of anyone on the main roster during 2017 who never picked up a title. Stock in his name soared even though an elbow injury kept him on the shelf for a short time. Braun’s program with Brock Lesnar was epic and even though the match didn’t deliver in every aspect it still impressed doubters saying Braun Strowman couldn’t swim in deep waters.

Now it looks like WWE could be prepping Braun Strowman for even bigger things because The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports the current plan is for Braun Strowman to challenge The Miz at WrestleMania 34 for the Intercontinental Title.

Giving Braun Strowman his first taste of WWE singles gold could prove to be just a starting point for him as his star continues to shine brighter in the WWE Universe. It will also give The Miz another marquee match at WrestleMania under his belt as he will reportedly carry his 8th IC Title to the Show Of Shows.

This match would also explain why The Miz won as clean as he did against Roman Reigns at Raw 25 because the title will be the crux of one of WrestleMania’s biggest matches. So if you’re a fan of The Miz and Braun Strowman, you might really enjoy the Road To WrestleMania this year. Becuase you’re likely to be seeing a lot of them in the stories building toward New Orleans.
