Mick Foley didn’t like something he saw on Raw this week at all

Mick Foley knows a thing or two about taking risks in the ring and he understands the long-term ramifications of so many hard bumps. This is why when he watched the Asuka vs Sasha Banks match on Raw this week, a moment which made a lot of us worried also concerned him as well.

Sasha went for a dive on The Empress Of Tomorrow but was stopped quickly thanks to a kick to the head. It was a rather brutal spot which caused The Boss’ body to bounce off the LED board on the ring apron as she went plummeting to the floor head-first.

Thankfully, she was okay but the WWE Hall Of Famer and former Raw GM had to bring it up as he warned her to cut it out with those dangerous dives.

The spot wasn’t pretty but it certainly added a lot of emotion to the match. It also scared me to death and I would rather not see this happen again just like Mick Foley. After all, someone with so much skill like Sasha Banks doesn’t need to do this kind of thing to make a match better. There was nothing risky about the closing sequence of the match and the drama between switching a Bank Statement into an Asuka Lock was plenty good on its own.

We’ve posted a video from the match below and as you can see, the bump was pretty scary. You can skip to the 1:30 mark to see the dive that Sasha Banks took to the outside.
