Few people have joined the WWE main roster with as many expectations on them as Bayley. But The Hugger has sadly been diminished as of late in a string of losses and failures to get much of anything going.
Some fans saw Bayley being on Main Event this week as a bad thing, after all, she was once thought of as the “female John Cena” during her heyday in NXT. The fact is Main Event, which is taped before Raw and airs on Hulu Plus is usually reserved for talent that isn’t on the top of the food chain. But the former Raw Women’s Champion wanted to set things straight concerning her appearance on WWE’s “B Level program.”
Bayley said any chance to get in the ring is a good thing for her, especially if it results in a win. Bayley defeated Sonya Deville during this week’s episode of Main Event and although the two didn’t get a ton of time in the ring Bayley obviously cherished the opportunity to perform in a singles match before a packed Philadelphia crowd.
It’s good to see Bayley’s spirits aren’t broken even though some have considered much of her WWE main roster run lackluster in recent memory.
Guys…let’s get this straight…it’s a GOOD thing I was on #MainEvent. I’ll take any chance I can get to step inside the ring. Especially in a singles match and especially when it ends with a victory 😼
