Jason Jordan’s wife responds to reports about her husband’s injury (updated)

Jason Jordan is reportedly injured and he’s losing hand grip. This is usually a sign of a pretty serious neck injury as people like Edge and Daniel Bryan experienced the same symptoms before their careers were cut drastically short.

But WWE seems to still be pressing on with the current storyline on Raw between Jason Jordan and Seth Rollins. They’re building Jordan’s heel turn slowly if that is the plan, and Dave Meltzer praised this booking decision on Wrestling Observer Radio. But there is still a huge issue of what WWE is building toward between Rollins and Jordan because if JJ is injured and can’t work the Show Of Shows. After all, Jason Jordan’s injury might require some attention rather than allow the story to continue right now.

“The big question there obviously is how do you pay it off?” Meltzer asked on Wrestling Observer Radio. “I mean you got a good program there like Jason Jordan, we’re waiting for him to do the heel turn and they’re not rushing it which is good but it’s very clear that Seth Rollins and Jason Jordan is gonna be a direction now. But what do you do? Are they hoping that Jason heals enough to where I don’t know, I guess in time your injuries heal. But his injuries is one most guys are gonna be getting surgery for and to keep going…you know when I heard about losing grip strength you know, that’s not something you just go, ‘well…'”

Meltzer compared Jason Jordan working through an injury to Hiroshi Tanahashi but also said Jordan’s injury is actually worse than Tanahashi’s. In fact, Jason Jordan’s issue could be pretty serious and might require surgery sooner than later. The longer he puts this kind of thing off might actually hurt the chances of his prognosis being less severe.

But perhaps this is a wait and see kind of situation for Jordan. One good thing is WWE sidelined him on Raw and he’s not been working house shows so he is getting time to heal. Hopefully, when WWE revisits Jodan’s injury his neck will pass and he’ll be cleared to work a program for WrestleMania. But it would be wise to approach this situation very carefully because neck injuries are nothing to ignore for very long.

But if you ask Jason Jordan’s wife April, he will be ready in no time. She said he does have a neck injury but it’s only a minor one and she will help him have the speediest of recoveries. Jason Jordan could still apparently use all of the good vibes he can get, but it sounds like he’ll be coming home for a bit while he heals.
