It’s been a while since we saw Drew McIntyre since he was injured in the match where he lost the NXT Title to Andrade Cien Almas. But the man formerly known as The Chosen One has been very busy.
McIntyre was recently inducted into his the ICW Hall Of Fame and seemed very hopeful about a WWE return sooner than later.
Now it sounds like that might very well be the case as the Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that Drew was back in Orlando training at the WWE Performance Center this past week meaning he’s four weeks ahead of schedule for his projected return from a torn biceps muscle.
It was noted that he’s about ready to return and since WrestleMania is coming around the corner, he could very well pop up anytime now in NXT or the main roster for that matter. But odds are he’ll still have some things to wrap up in NXT first.
