One of the key matches on the blue brand should be official by tonight because Shane McMahon, according to WWE advertisements, will be making a WrestleMania announcement tonight.
WWE has been pushing that Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn don’t trust each other and McMahon has been in the mix in a feud with both men. In fact, Owens ripped on McMahon for being at Raw instead of being on the road with the Smackdown crew for their non-televised live event. It’s looking likely that McMahon’s announcement will involve Zayn, Owens, and McMahon possibly in a handicap match or Triple Threat Match.
Tonight’s show will also feature Asuka’s debut on the brand as she gets ready to challenge for Charlotte Flair’s Smackdown Women’s Championship. Also, it’s looking like they are building to Randy Orton vs. Bobby Roode vs. Jinder Mahal for the United States Championship at Mania. The Tag Team Championship match for Mania appears to be The Usos defending against The New Day and The Bludgeon Brothers. Most, if not all, of the Smackdown Mania matches, should be clear by tonight.
