Ronda Rousey is starting to do media for WWE ahead of WrestleMania 34. On Tuesday, she was on ESPN Radio’s “Golic and Wingo” and she was asked if she was done fighting. It was an awkward exchange and Rousey seemed annoyed with the host. Rousey was asked when she decided that she was done fighting. Her response was, “I never said that.” She was then asked if she could travel in time and she responded, “I can’t travel in time.”
She also put over WWE and said that everyone had gone out of her way to help her fit in and Monday was the first time that she started to feel like things are starting to become routine. She also said that she understands that people are wary of her because the people in the wrestling business take their work seriously and they have iven their life to it.
The one thing I know is that she has gone out of her way to be cordial to everyone backstage and she has put in a ton of hours to prepare for her WrestleMania match. If anything, you can’t question her dedication to WWE. Her answer about a possible returning to fighting is sure to raise a few eyebrows because the assumption from people in MMA (including from Dana White) is that she was done fighting.
Here is a clip from the exchange and you can scroll down for the full interview:
