Jordynne Grace Takes Second At Another Bodybuilding Show As WWE Return Waits

Jordynne Grace finished second at a bodybuilding show over the weekend, her second competition in two weeks, while her WWE return remains on hold.

Grace posted the result on X: “Another show today! Another second place finish 🥈 8lbs down from my last show two weeks ago… goal is to go pro in 365 days or less!”

The earlier show was the Heart of Texas on September 19, where Grace also placed second and qualified for nationals. She said at the time that she had prepped for four weeks in secret and had not told her husband she was competing until that week. “I didn’t come to win this one,” she wrote. “I just needed a reminder of who I am.”

Grace’s WWE Status

Grace’s last SmackDown match was on April 17, the night before WrestleMania 42, when she lost to Tiffany Stratton in a No. 1 contender’s match for the Women’s United States Championship. She worked Main Event after that, and her last match was against Kiana James in June.

Sean Ross Sapp said on Fightful’s The Hump in July that WWE had “no vision for her. No idea what to do with her.” In September, Sapp reported on Fightful Select that Grace and Ivy Nile are planned to return to television as a tag team and filmed vignettes over the summer. WWE sources believe the pairing is tied to an “Iron Built” trademark. No return date has been reported.

In late April, after her last SmackDown match, Grace said she was lobbying WWE’s writers to pair her with Paul Heyman.
