When Bayley was put on the shelf due to a separated shoulder thanks to Nia Jax it was a very sad moment for us all. In reality, Bayley hasn’t had the best of luck since losing the Raw Women’s Championship but The Hugger keeps going strong and there doesn’t seem to be anything stopping her… besides that shoulder injury. Now Sasha Banks looks primed to seek revenge via Nia Jax and head to SummerSlam herself.
But is she really injured in the first place?
D-Generation X was celebrating their big 20-year-anniversary recently so Sasha Banks and Bayley decided to send out a photo as a tribute. In this picture, they are sporting DX gear and striking iconic poses. But some fans noticed something very odd about the way the supposedly injured Bayley decided to throw up her “X.” Ironically it’s the same way a referee would throw up an “X” when someone was injured which she didn’t appear to be in the picture.
Some fans drew attention to this fact and Bayley’s replies have been rather coy. Perhaps this is an older picture they are using from a while ago, or possibly Bayley was just able to gut through the pain in order to respect the legendary stable.
Regardless this might lend some credence to those people who think Bayley’s injury is just a work. We’ll keep you posted in case we catch her doing any heavy manual labor or helping someone move a piano. But this certainly has piqued our attention.
