Booker T has been around the pro wrestling business long enough to understand that announce teams often require shake ups. After all, Booker T was a replacement for David Otunga initially and just kept the position until recently.
But now that Jonathan Coachman is back with WWE, it looks like the 5-time World Champion is returning to the kickoff panel which doesn’t sound like a bad deal to him. Booker congratulated Jonathan Coachman for coming back to WWE and didn’t seem upset about the news at all.
Booker T commented saying how he couldn’t be happier to be back on the pay-per-view kickoff panel. If anything, he will certainly be required to travel less. It will also provide an excellent opportunity for him to say “shucky ducky quack quack” much more often.
His kickoff show panel partner Renee Young also commented saying how much she’s missed Booker on the kickoff show.
Therefore if you’re thinking Booker T would have sour grapes about being replaced on the Raw announce team, you would be mistaken.
Congratulations to @TheCoachrules for being back with the @WWE! Couldn’t be more happy to be back on the PPV kickoff shows with my girl @ReneeYoungWWE! Aww shucky ducky quack quack is back!!!!! #DigIt
