As most of you know by now, Enzo Amore is now part of the cruiserweight division as he made his debut on this week’s episode of 205 Live.
This is something that had been talked about for weeks, if not months, and Corey Graves suggested it on an episode of Bring It To The Table. Part of the reason for the move is because everyone was mad at him, according to the latest Wrestling Observer newsletter.
The move won’t alter his schedule because he will still travel with the Raw crew but this could hurt his pay. However, if he continues to get microphone time and keep his merchandise sales up, then it might not affect his pay too much. Plus, he’ll likely be on the live events, unlike many of the cruiserweights. The thing is, even though he is disliked by so many people, the fact is that he is still over with the fans despite being beaten like a drum on TV every week.
There have been several stories on Enzo from Roman Reigns kicking off the WWE talent bus to bringing in an entourage into the locker room. There were people in WWE that laughed at his move to the cruiserweight division since he posted a photo on Instagram that seemed to indicate that he did not want to be part of 205 Live.
