The main event for WWE No Mercy is set. It was announced on this week’s episode of Monday Night Raw that the Universal Championship will be on the line when Brock Lesnar defends against Braun Strowman.
This match was actually supposed to take place in July at the Great Balls Of Fire pay-per-view but they had to shuffle plans because of Braun Strowman’s injury. On this week’s Monday Night Raw, Lesnar came out to kick off the show but was then confronted by Strowman. The announcers kept mentioning that no one has manhandled Lesnar like Strowman did at SummerSlam.
Once again, Strowman hit running powerslams on Lesnar and left him lying during the opening segment. Later in the show, it was officially announced that they would collide at No Mercy. The No Mercy PPV will take place on 9/24 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.
