It’s been a few years since Hulk Hogan threw down a legal legdrop on Gawker but it still hasn’t helped him get back into WWE’s good graces just yet.
The Hulkster recently spoke to TMZ about a possible return where he sounded very positive about making the leap back to Vince McMahon and Company. But in the end, it’s all about timing.
“For me, I’d love to change that last story that was told with the Hulk Hogan career. I’d love to get back in the fold, get back on the inside and correct a lot of stuff. It has to be the perfect timing for both sides. We’re all on good terms. We’re all working towards the same goal. So hopefully, I’ll be able to be back with my wrestling family some day soon.”
The Wrestling Observer Newsletter has said that there are people in WWE who would love to bring Hogan back into the fold, but it is a sticky situation. They don’t want to upset advertisers or get Hogan in a spot during an ambassador gig where he’s asked a tough question about the sex tape trial or those awful things he was captured saying.
Hopefully, there will be a day when Hulk Hogan is able to come back but it’s much trickier than simply signing him back on and having him appear on Raw like nothing ever happened. There is no real way he could win in a “social court” at this point but he’s had time to reconcile a lot and reflect on the events from that portion of his life.
Maybe there’s a chance for Hulkamania to run wild in WWE once more, but it might take a little bit more time for that to be really possible. Then again, you never know in WWE.
