Update: Matt has continued to throw out amazing allusions to the fact The Hardys are getting a new gimmick very soon. He has since tweeted out they have a new sunrise, a new beginning, reborn focus, new motivation, and a positive change of habit. It certainly appears something is changing for The Hardys.

Original: Pro wrestling is a business and sometimes in business you have to compromise. You might take a little less money or you could find yourself getting a little more money. But also sometimes you have to tweak your gimmick because your former employer won’t let go of it.
That seems to be happening to Matt and Jeff Hardy as they continue to scratch and claw at Anthem Sports to let go of their beloved Broken Gimmick. But WWE in their creative mastery might have discovered a loop hole.
Matt Hardy kind of blew our minds on Monday night after Raw when he did a video where he spoke about how he felt “awoken.” When we covered this subject it was speculated WWE might have given up on Anthem Sports because they’re never going to stop dragging their feet. So WWE is just making Matt and Jeff “The Awoken Hardys.”
While this is still up in the air it seems like we might have been close to being on the money about that one. Matt recently tweeted out another pretty big hint accompanied with a very familiar picture of the House Of Hardy in all their Broken Brilliance.
