For those of you wondering what is next for Asuka, it looks like she will be headed to Monday Night Raw after she recovers from her broken collarbone injury.
Pro Wrestling Sheet’s James McKenna (by the way, you should follow him on Twitter because he is very plugged into the backstage happenings in WWE), reports that the word on Asuka is that she will make her first official main roster appearance at the TLC pay-per-view in October. She has appeared on a few select main roster live events in the past but she was considered an NXT talent at the time so the TLC show would be her first official main roster appearance.
This year’s TLC pay-per-view will be a Raw-branded show and will be held at the Target Center on 10/22. As far as her NXT title reign, she relinquished the title at Thursday night’s tapings but she will still be recognized as the champion until her farewell show airs. For those that missed it, click here to see photos from her NXT farewell.
The Asuka farewell took place at the end of the tapings so that might not air for another few weeks. My guess is that the plan would be for WWE to announce that the winner of the Mae Young Classic would be crowned as the new NXT Women’s Champion.
throwing it out there – from what i am hearing w/ recovery of her injury. first appearance for asuka is slated to be oct's TLC in Minnesota.
