You never know what can happen in the ring because all it takes is one move and your career could be over in an instant. We’ve seen injuries take down some of our favorite Superstars in the past and it turns out Apollo almost recently became another addition to that list.
During the Raw house show in Kitchener Ontario, Titus Worldwide competed in a triple threat tag match for the Raw Tag Team Titles against The Bar and The Club.
Apollo had to leave his match for a moment when he appeared to injure his leg. One fan from the show said the man formally known as Apollo Crews appeared to blow out his quad while doing a kip up.
He rolled out of the ring and was tended to by ringside officials and medical staff, but it looks like he was cleared to finish the match because he soon went back in to rejoin the contest. The Bar retained their titles when all was said and done, but at least Apollo didn’t have to watch it go down from the back.
Reports were Apollo was limping a bit during the conclusion of the match and afterward, but the fact they let him see the match to its completion is a very good sign that he’s going to be okay.
Let’s cross our fingers for Apollo though, because he just lost his last name and the last thing he needs at this point is to lose a wheel too.
