WWE WrestleMania 44 could be heading to Nashville.
According to WrestleVotes Radio on Fightful Select, a city official has confirmed that WWE is in active negotiations with the city of Nashville, Tennessee about potentially bringing WrestleMania there. The event would be held at the new Nissan Stadium, which is set to open in 2027 for use by the Tennessee Titans.
Given the strength of the ongoing discussions, city officials are hopeful that an agreement and announcement could be made soon, with sources within the city claiming they are at the finish line. It should be noted that city officials have made similar claims in the past as a way to generate buzz around their pursuit of the event.
The report follows a tease from WWE President Nick Khan, who told attendees at a recent event that they should “wait until you see where we go” when referencing WrestleMania 44 in 2028.
WWE already has future WrestleMania obligations to New Orleans and Indianapolis, meaning Nashville would represent an additional commitment on top of those already agreed-upon dates. Next year’s WrestleMania will be held in Saudi Arabia.
