Rhea Ripley Warns Jade Cargill: ‘If She Thinks She Can Continue This Journey Being A Smug Little B**ch,’ It’s Not ‘Going To Last Very Long’

Rhea Ripley has delivered one of her most pointed messages yet to Jade Cargill ahead of their WrestleMania 42 match, and she did not mince words about what she believes will happen if the champion continues on her current path.

Speaking with Cathy Kelley as part of her WrestleMania 42 media tour, Ripley tied her criticism of Cargill into a broader philosophy about what it means to be part of the women’s division and the responsibility that comes with it.

“The lives that we change within this business is one of the absolute peaks of our career. Honestly, the lives that we’ve changed, the people that are still literally alive because of what we do and how we inspired them to be able to follow their dreams and accomplish whatever they want. I love the fact that I can help empower women. If you don’t want to do that within this business, get the hell out. You’re not made for this business.

If you don’t want to inspire people, elevate the division, and make us undeniable and unforgettable, we don’t want you here. If you’re in it all for yourself, you’re not gonna last long. At the end of the day, the women’s division here is the best that it’s ever been and we are taking it to higher highs and unlocking goals that we didn’t think were possible. We’re making history.

We weren’t able to do that on our own, we had to do it with each other. If she thinks that she can continue this journey being a smug little bitch like she is, then it’s not going to last very long. I hate to tell her that, but it’s not. At the end of the day, she’s gonna pack up her stuff out of her little locker room and she’s gonna get the hell out of this business. We’re here to grow and lead this women’s division at a higher height than it’s ever been. It’s setting up the future of women here, so we can go out there and say that we were able to accomplish things and steal the crowd and steal the best matches and do all of this stuff and accomplish all of these things. If you’re not a team player, you’re not made for this place,” Ripley said.

Ripley challenges Cargill for the WWE Women’s Championship on night two of WrestleMania 42 on Sunday, April 19 at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas.
