Ronda Rousey’s appearance outside the Mae Young Classic where she was confronted by Charlotte Flair, Becky Lynch, and Bayley nearly broke the internet when it happened. If reports are any indication of things there is still plenty of room for this story to get even bigger.
Rowdy Ronda has been reportedly training with The Brian Kendrick and taking bumps in the ring. With her previous training in MMA, there’s no telling how far she’s progressed at this point. Rousey has expressed interest in coming to WWE for a while now and Triple H is obviously very welcoming to the idea of having her big-ticket name involved with WWE.
After Ronda’s confrontation outside the Mae Young Classic it is being reported by the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that this feud will likely see itself culminating in some sort of match at Survivor Series. There are also plans for Ronda to possibly continue with WWE toward an angle at WrestleMania as well.
Even though Nikki Bella might say she wants to fight Ronda Rousey, it doesn’t look like those are WWE’s plans. It is being reported Ronda is being thought about to face either Stephanie McMahon or Charlotte Flair at The Show Of Shows. Either one of those opponents would bring a lot of eyes to the event but the bigger name of the two might arguably be Stephanie McMahon. It would make the most sense story-wise as well because Steph was the one who was womanhandled by Rousey at WrestleMania 31.
Only time will tell how this situation will unfold, but we’ll keep you updated as soon as we hear anything official.
