It doesn’t look like Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn will be going quietly after Daniel Bryan fired them last week on SmackDown Live. The Yep Movement put a real beating to Bryan during the closing moments of SmackDown this week and I have a feeling if he made it to Trenton, they would have done the same.
In a flash, both former NXT Champions rushed the ring wearing street clothes and security didn’t stop them at all. Kevin Owens even recently changed his Twitter handle back to his actual name after being fired, but he still had plenty to say about Daniel Bryan in New Jersey.
Sami Zayn screamed about how they were unjustly fired. He said that they loved Daniel Bryan but now he’s just a corporate sellout.
These two have a huge beef to settle with the SmackDown Live GM and although it might be obvious this story is headed to WrestleMania, it’s still extremely entertaining to watch play out in real time.
Suddenly, Shinsuke Nakamura’s music hit and that was the end of their little invasion attempt. But only time will tell how long it will be until they try it again.
